In 1994 the Gloucester County Archivist suggested we form a Parish History Group. So the Oxenhall Parish History Group (OPHG) set out on a journey revealing a remarkable amount of interest in this very small Gloucestershire Parish Our aims and achievements are described here.
A modest Exhibition in 1995 marking the 50th Anniversary of the end of WW2 was so successful that we were given grants for future research to produce more ambitious Exhibitions that depicted life during the previous century, an Anthology, a book Oxenhall 1913-2013, a film Oxenhall in Four Seasons and a Parish Survey. Besides our work we enjoyed many Talks and Visits and gained much satisfaction during our first 30 years.
